UK Independence Party

For Newbury & West Berkshire

Welcome to UKIP Newbury

The UK Independence Party made history in June 2009 in the European Elections, taking second place nationally ahead of both the Labour Party and Liberal Democrats.

With the General Election to be held by June 3rd 2010, UKIP has never been more ready to offer you a genuine alternative to the three main parties, The UK Independence Party has a full range of domestic policies, built on Freedom, Independence and Democracy. Lord Pearson, the UKIP leader sets out why people should vote for UKIP in the forthcoming General Election here>

Many people in our country are disillusioned with the political class. The historical swinging back and forth between Conservative and Labour has done the country no favours. People are becoming increasingly aware of this and now want real change. UKIP will provide a moderate alternative to the three old parties in the forthcoming General Election. The UK Independence Party offers common sense policies, which are so desperately sought by the ordinary people who pay their taxes to keep the political class afloat.

UKIP’s core belief is still based around the need to set our country free from the European Union and restore law making powers to Westminster. This will bring huge financial and regulatory savings, essential to restoring our prosperity.

Here in West Berkshire, our local candidate will be Newbury resident David Black. He has been a member of UKIP since its beginnings in 1993. He believes that the political elite has lost the trust of the electorate, particularly since the expenses scandal broke last year.

Bureaucratic Madness of the Day

‘NHS target for A&E treatment 'risks patient safety'.

One ambulance paramedic said that under the target driven system; “If I arrive at an emergency scene within 8 minutes but the patient dies, it is considered a success. However, if I arrive in 9 minutes and save the patient’s life, it is a failure.”
